With the announcement that ‘Family Feud’ will be returning to the air in 2017, the network’s top cable show has been getting plenty of press coverage.
However, some fans have taken issue with the fact that the episode will only be available on a fios-only service.
In a video that was posted on YouTube on Tuesday, the cast and crew of ‘Family Fudders’ were asked about the upcoming episode and responded with a simple “no.”
The video has since been removed, but the reaction is still available online.
The family was clearly unhappy with the decision.
In a statement to MTV News, the family said, “We can only assume that this is a very expensive attempt at monetization.
As it stands, we have no idea why we’re being asked to pay for a program that is available to everyone.
We are still awaiting confirmation that this will be the first of the series.”
The episode will air in the fall of 2017, but no further details have been released.
