Updated May 23, 2018 08:24:52The quality of video streams offered by VPN services is generally higher than what is offered by the traditional ISP networks, according to a new report from the research firm iComScore.

The average monthly revenue for a VPN service was $6.99 per month, while the average yearly revenue was $1,738.
But it’s not all about the quality of the video, according, according some VPNs offer even better streaming speeds than those offered by traditional ISPs.
iCom found that some VPN services, like iStream, Netflix, and the TorGuard network, offer faster streaming speeds compared to the average ISP.
Netflix claims its streaming video service is 30 to 40 percent faster than that of the average ISPs.
The iStream streaming video is 30 percent faster on average than Netflix’s average stream speeds.
Titelink, another VPN service, is also offering streaming speeds of up to 25 percent faster for its customers.
It also found that the average video quality of Netflix’s streaming video was a little higher than that offered by Comcast’s Xfinity video.
Netflix’s Netflix service is actually the fourth-fastest streaming video provider, according the iCom report.
